What does the signal Wi-Fi do for this washer

Love the washer it's done great for me for now 6 7 years I like to know what year they came out and were made for this particular model and also what the high low Wi-Fi looking signal on the control panel does and where can I download the manual

I bought this GE Profile new. From day 1 it has never added enough water to cover the clothes. I thought GE found some engineering feat but no, it doesn't clean clothes well. In addition, it tangles the clothes into one big knot. Then the main PC board blew a power transistor stopping all functions.$293.00 later it was back working. Nine weeks later it again failed. This time the 76 minute wash time stopped dead at 55 minutes. All I can get it to do is slowly spin the drum, like it was filling with water. I tried recycling power, different programs, unplugging for 10 minutes, all to no avail. Now I have a full drum of wet clothes and water, and cant get it to even drain. Come on GE, at least give me a service manual to run some service tests to at least allow me to dump the water.

I am not surprised that you are no longer manufacturing this product. It does not clean my clothes properly & there is not enough water. I watched my two sets of sheets agitate and run through 15 minutes of a wash cycle -- and there was a large area of one sheet that never even got wet - it was completely DRY! I had to pause the machine and push the sheets around. Of course the same thing happens with ALL MY LAUNDRY! I paid over $900.00 for this machine and I am soooo disappointed. I have all GE appliances, some are Profile and some are regular - so it's not like the entire brand is bad, but this washer is the worst I have ever had, even though it is the most expensive.

This is the worst washing machine I have ever used. I can wash a load of clothes 3 times and they are still dirty. Additionally it is ruining anything elastic or spandex because there is so little water everything gets tangled together. This stretches everything out. The bleach diffuser does not work and leaves bleach stains on things.
If the machine is out of balance it remains full of water and turns itself off. Your only option is to rung another full cycle with the shortest one being 22 minutes. Thank goodness they discontinued this awful product I would hate for anyone to have to suffer through the terrible laundry crisis I have been in because of this thing.
