Granted we use this washing machine 3 to 4 times a week it only lasted five years. Very disappointing for a GE product that is why I write it average the motor is shot after five years of regular usage I would have expected at least 10 out of a GE appliance

Repeat Power Issues

We bought this appliance brand-new three years ago. I am dealing with a repeated, non-power issue. It's as if the washer is dead. No power, lights, etc. Repair man said it needed new "motherboard." After replacing that expensive part, while cheaper than a new washer, I completed 5 loads of laundry over the course of 4 days...only to have the same issue occur! My washer is dead AGAIN! My check hasn't even been cashed by the repair guy yet!

Only after one year my general electric washer Will not operate properly..just when the warrenty expired..I have electronics issues that timings and computer settings are malfuctioning causing me to fill and drain their washer several times and all I have is a left over bill from their repair man.
