We™™ve had our washer for about 6 years. I love the features and the basket size for our family of 5 and now 6. Unfortunately it has required a lot of maintenance (more than any of my previous washers) to keep all of the crevices clean to avoid mold and mildew growth. Now it™™s broken and the repairs are almost as expensive as a brand new machine making it pointless to fix. On to a new washer.

Stopped working within 5 years of installation. Panel stated it was going through cycles and the product would actually sound as if water was going in and out but there was no drum movement. Even technician couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. So I threw it away! There's so much money you can through at an item before its worth a new one. So I did...

After over two years of use, we still consider this GE washer the best available. This model is no longer manufactured, but the newer GE models are great as well. We have two friends that each purchased the newer GE models and they are very satisfied with their choice. I highly recommend the GE line of washers

Absolutely love my washer. After Hurricane hit us here on coast of NC last year in 2018 I had to buy a washer. While this is smaller than one I had, this 4.5 cu. washer does a job of a bigger washer just fine, just don't think it's an extra large you'll be fine. I'm sure you'll be pleased with your purchase as much as I am. Thanks for a great washer GE.

I bought this a little over four months ago, and it's probably the worst washer I've ever bought. The wash tub is large, so is the machine, but you can't load it very full if you want everything to get wet. And the spin cycle is terrible, I almost always have to redo it.

I have had this washer a little over a month and am quite happy with it. It seems to use very little water and the spin setting gets almost all of the water out of my clothes. It does however sound like an aeroplane engine while doing it. Also it locks and unlocks the door, without input from me, several times before starting and it is very loud about it.

My husband works construction and this washer does not get his clothes clean. There is no way to make it add more water and in my opinion, that is what it needs. Also, you must take clothes out of it and leave open or will become smelly inside.
