I've had this washer for a few years, and love the sanitize feature for my husbands work clothes. It has the standard colors and whites modes along with the quick wash. Overall, I am happy with the product and will continue to purchase GE appliances because of their durability. I just recently ran into my first issue with the counterweight, which we are now trying to look into.

I have had this washer a few years now and I™™m not happy with it. When I use the cleaning cycle the door leaks. I have to lay several towels on the floor. I can™™t use high spin because the whole house shakes and even the second highest spin level shakes a lot.

I am an athlete. I train. I win and I get sweaty doing it. This is my first "high efficiency" washer. My last one was a traditional top loader that did a fine job getting all those shirts and socks fresh and clean. When it bit the dust I dropped into my local shop for a replacement thinking I was getting an upgrade with this model. WRONG. Perhaps all HE machines offer the same milquetoast results, I do not know. At least there are some pretty lights and the spin cycle is cool. It's just sad that the primary engineering objective seems to be a fail. A funny thing about marketing is that you can sometimes still get the sale but lose the customer. I have gone through 2 bags of the name brand, recommended pods and have had the machine for about 5 months. As Inyego Montoya once said, I want my old machine back. Well something like that.
