Washer failed after four years

I have the matching dryer and wanted to love this GE set. Though I love the pedestal height and aesthetic, this washer is NOT RELIABLE. After less than four years of usage, the washer would continually repeat the spin cycle and leak water. We had a reputable appliance repair company diagnose the unit. I was informed that so many parts were worn and broken that it would be cheaper to replace the entire unit vs. repairing. So disappointed! I take very good care of this washer and only use small loads. This experience has sourced my impression of GE as a brand.

Very good overall, door latch does not work well

Just purchased and installed this unit. It dries my clothes a lot faster than my old dryer. The controls are easy to understand. A single laminated sheet was also enclosed that gives all of the directions on each of the cycles.

Less than a month old and needs repair

Purchased this GE Right Height dryer from Lowe's. When on the Sheets/Towels cycle it makes a very loud noise when on the "detangle" cycle. When the dryer spins counter clockwise it sounds broken. Taking it off the detangle setting helps, but the dryer is still very noisy. I'll be contacting a service person to get this fixed.
