This dryer is absolute junk. Never gets my towels dry without drying several times and not even full loads. Now dryer is making a terrible racket and I haven™€™t even had them long. Washer is no better. Don™€™t buy GE products.

Door does not stay closed

I think we may have purchased a "lemon" or possibly a used machine (though we purchased at a store). The door closure mechanism does not easily catch. You really have to slam the door shut to make it stay closed. Maybe a service call could fix this, but a brand new unit should not have such an issue.

I think if you understand how efficient these newer dryers are, use the settings and load selections to maximize how many different ways this can help ™€" especially things like attention to detail with regard to ™€˜detangle™€™ and a high number of temperature settings that complement the way I can use this for just about every type of fabric I own in a dryer in this price range.

I bought this drier along with a washing machine a couple of months ago. I like the different clothing selections & then the machine determines the time length, etc. I especially like the fact that clothing that usually took an hour to dry in my old machine now because of the machine sensors takes around a half hour. Love the energy savings!

This is my first GE Dryer and I absolutely love it. The right height pedestal is fantastic and the steam refresh feature is amazing for my dress shirts. I like to throw my shirt in in the morning when I am getting ready and I have a practically pressed shirt when I walk out the door 15 minutes later.

With our previous dryer that was less than 18 old it would take over a half an hour before the machine would sense the closes were dry, then we would have to add another 15 minutes to actually have mostly dry clothes. With this dryer - 10 minuets average, sometimes 15 or 20, but surprisingly often we find clothes are dry in as little as 5 minutes. I™€™m not just saying this, but this dryer really is amazing!

Had this washer/dryer combo delivered on 02-05-2018 and washed a load of clothes. We then went to use the Dryer and it does not work. Tested the wall outlet and it is good but the dryer acts like it is not getting juice. Called GE APPLIANCES 800 # and can't get thru to a customer service agent. Really people!

The dryer has only been used for 2 weeks at this time but seems to be a better product. The "right height" feature is great. The end of cycle tone repeats for at least 45 seconds so you have a better chance of hearing it if you aren't close by.

It was very easy to use and simple to operate. The elevation of door made it easy to put the clothes in and get them out. The controls were simple to operate. It could use a little bigger print on the labels, but with my glasses on it was easy to figure out.

I had this installed along with the matching washing machine, and I have been very pleased. It has a number of helpful features, and it really is the right height. One concern I have is that the door doesn't seem to latch quickly, but I suspect that maybe my unit needs to be leveled better.
